Hudson, MA
David B. Osborne, 61, of Hudson, died Friday, March 16th at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary (Longhi) Osborne of Hudson.
David was born and raised in Englewood, NJ, son of the late Bayard and Ann (Livingston) Osborne. He graduated from high school in Alabama and was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army. He resided in Virginia for a short time before moving to Hudson where he has resided the past 35 plus years. He was most recently employed by the Sunshine Taxi Co. of Hudson as a driver until he retired in 2010. He was a member of the Hudson Amvets, member of the Hudson Elks and enjoyed many outdoor activities including fishing and camping.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his three children, Brian Osborne of Marlboro, Emily LaFountaine and her husband Micheal and Erin Trento and her husband Carlos, all of Hudson. He is also survived by his father-in-law, Carmino "Moose” Longhi; two brothers, Raymond Osborne of California, Alan Osborne of Pennsylvania; his sister, Nancy Bowen of Kansas and his two grandchildren, Mikey and Mia LaFountaine.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 20th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 19th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
