Mrs. Carol Ann Antanavich, a long time resident of Andover and beloved wife of Joseph F. Antanavich, died at her home on Wednesday evening, March 14, 2012. She was 70 years old.
Born in Andover on January 1, 1942, Carol was the beloved daughter of the late Mildred Prior. Carol was a graduate of Punchard High School, class of 1960. Mrs. Antanavich was employed for many years as an office manager for Clark Chrysler and Plymouth and more recently as a tax auditor for the IRS in Andover. In her spare time, Carol loved bird watching and always enjoyed quilting. She also had a special love for animals.
Besides her beloved husband, Joseph, whom she married on February 29, 1965, she will be very sorely missed by her loving daughters; Sharon and her husband George Dalrymple of the Woodlands, Texas and Stephanie and her husband Tony Cungo of Danville, New Hampshire, two siblings; Sumner Davis, Jr., of Foley, Alabama and Joyce Regan of North Andover, four grandchildren; Samantha and Lindsey Dalrymple and Alyssa and Abby Cungo and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service was celebrated in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at 10 AM. Many relatives and friends respectfully attended. Calling hours were held on Monday, March 19, 2012, from 4 to 8 PM. Burial was in Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover. Donations in Carol's memory may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the cure, P.O.
