WELLESLEY-Pauline B. (O’Brien) Melican, formerly of 707 Worcester Street, and 269 Moreland Street, Worcester died Friday, April 9th at Whitney Place in Natick. Her husband of 45 years John J. Melican died in 1993. She leaves her son John J. Melican, Jr. of Worcester, 2 daughters Paula M. Larkowich with whom she lived and Mary R. Carroll of Falmouth, 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Thomas P. and Mary (Cunningham) O’Brien. She was a graduate of North High School and Regis College.
The funeral is Monday, April 12th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at Noon in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 10:30 until 11:30 the morning of the funeral. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Animal Rescue League 139 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01606.
