Raymond T. Renaud, Sr., 68, of Woonsocket died Tuesday in Providence.
Born in Springfield, Ill., he was a son of the late Emile and Arline (Lovegrove) Renaud. He was a lifelong resident of Woonsocket.
Mr. Renaud served in the Navy during the early 1960s.
He was employed by General Dynamics for over 20 years before retiring.
Raymond was a member of the American Legion Post 62 in Woonsocket.
He is survived by a son Raymond T. Renaud Jr., and his companion Shannon Reyor, and a daughter Dawn Finlay, and her husband George, all of Woonsocket. Four grandchildren, Nicholas Renaud, Emily and Kaitlin Finlay, and Mereck Renaud. He was the brother of Emile Renaud of TX, Edward Renaud of Greenville, Ronald Donahue of Foster, Lionel Renaud and Mary Sean both of Woonsocket, and the late Richard and Claudette Renaud, and Linda Larochelle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 am in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the RI. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are Friday morning from 9:00-11:00 am prior to services.
