Mrs. Stella Julia (Czepiel) Ward, of Raynham, died Tuesday, March 13 in Morton Hospital following a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of the late John Ward. She was born 91 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Sawinski) Czepiel. She was educated in Taunton and had been a Raynham resident for many years. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed at the former Paul A. Dever State School for several years. She had previously been employed at Reed and Barton Silversmiths. She was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church in Raynham.
She leaves: 1 sister: Celia Charves of Lowell, and several nieces and nephews in New York and Massachusetts.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, on Saturday, March 17 at 10:30 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Church, Raynham, at 11:30 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Visiting Hour will precede the funeral, Saturday, from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M.
