Marie (DeTeso) Lizotte, age 86, a lifelong resident of Winchester, passed away March 11, 2012. Born raised and educated in Winchester, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Catherine (Conestabile) DeTeso. A graduate of Winchester High School, Marie was an inspector in the electronic industry for many years. In her spare time, she loved the outdoors and gardening. Marie was very crafty and enjoyed sewing and knitting, especially baby blankets for her family. Her greatest enjoyment was her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She was the beloved mother of Eileen Morris and her husband Dick of Woburn and Daniel Lizotte, Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL, and the dear sister of Elizabeth Paonessa of Winchester and the late Antoinette Tranfaglia, Jane MacIsaac, Catherine “Kay”, Josephine, Rose and Anthony DeTeso. She was also the long-time companion of the late Ron White, and is further survived by 2 grandchildren: Erin Morris O’Brien and her husband Jon and Damon Morris and his wife Sheila, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may gather at the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Wed., March 14 at 9:30AM followed by a Memorial Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie’s memory may be made to the Winchester Hospital Center for Cancer Care, 620 Washington St., Winchester, MA 01890.
