In Stoughton, March 9, 2012 Margaret M. “Maggie” (Garvey) Mackenzie, age 89, passed away following a period of failing health. Maggie leaves her husband Kevin Mackenzie of Brockton. She was born in Sandwich to her late parents John & Mrs. (Buckley) Garvey. Maggie has resided in Brockton since the 1980’s and was formerly of Taunton. Maggie was a very independent woman with a flavorful vocabulary. She enjoyed shopping especially for pocketbooks, going out with her husband Kevin, trips to Plymouth and all her friends at her home. A funeral home service will be held on Weds., March 14th in the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 at 12pm. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours one hour prior to her service from 11-12pm. Burial will be in Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton.
