Manchester-Richard P. Forcier, 79, died March 8, 2012 at the Elliot Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born in Manchester the son of Albert and Josephine (Lambert) Forcier and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
He owned and operated Richard P. Forcier General Contractor for over 50 years. He was a 75 year member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.
He had been a lifelong parishioner of St. George Church until its closing then became a parishioner of St. Joseph Cathedral.
Members of his family include cousins Lucille and Paul Ouellet of Manchester, their daughter Lisa Ouellet, Lisa’s children Mrs. Patrick (Samantha) McDonough and Ava McDonough, Lucille and Paul’s son Michael Ouellet and his son Damien.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be on Monday from 3 to 6 PM at the J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 AM in St. Joseph Cathedral, corner of Pine and Lowell Sts.. Committal prayers and entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum Chapel.
