Obituary

Mr. Albini P. Tremblay, of Taunton, died Thursday, March 8 in Taunton Nursing Home following a period of failing health. He was the beloved husband of Elaine E. (Lamarche) Tremblay. He was born 84 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Joseph and Marie A. (Garceau) Tremblay. He was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a polisher for Reed and Barton Silversmiths for 48 years. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, having served in Okinawa near the end of the War. He was a member of the David F. Adams Post #611, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Reed and Barton Quarter Century Club. Albini enjoyed camping at the Bourne Scenic Park, fishing, lobstering, stamp, coin and baseball card collecting, and spending time with his family. He was a communicant of the former St. Jacques Parish in Taunton.
In addition to his wife, he leaves: 2 daughters: Suzanne J. Tremblay of Taunton, and Annette M. Kubicek and her husband, Michael of Norway, Maine; 1 son: Paul A. Tremblay and his wife, Debbie of Taunton; 4 grandchildren: Renee Henderson, Jason Tremblay, Matthew Kubicek, and Jeffrey Tremblay; 4 great grandchildren: Shane Kubicek, Brieana Smith, Ethan Kubicek, and Anthony Kubicek, and several nieces and nephews. Albini was also the brother of the late Gertrude Slavick.
A Funeral Service will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Monday, March 12 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
