Lacefield, Leslie, 92, of Louisville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 7, 2012.
He was a native of Butler County, Kentucky, a member of Rutledge Road Baptist Church and a retired self-employed upholsterer.
Preceded by his wife of 51 years, Valor (Brooks) Lacefield.
Survivors include his children, Geoffrey Lacefield (Donna), Loraine Bennett; 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Saturday at Owen Funeral home 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Chapel Union Missionary Baptist Church, Welchs Creek, KY. Visitation will be 1:00 – 8:00 pm Friday.
Memorial gifts to Rutledge Road Baptist Church or Cloverleaf Baptist Church Christian Life Center.
