SPENCER: Sophie T. (Siemienkiewicz) Lapierre, 94, of Ash Street died Wednesday, March 7 in the Life Care Center of Auburn after an illness.
Her husband Eldege L. Lapierre died in 2002. She leaves a son Eldege Richard Lapierre of Paxton, three grandchildren Pamela Avallone and her husband Joseph of Brimfield, Kenneth J. Lapierre of Spencer and Garrett A. Lapierre and his wife Kimberly of Leicester, four great-grandchildren Garrett Jr., Cathryn, Jacob & Kristie and several nieces and nephews.
Sophie was born in Webster, daughter of William and Antonia (Tiekienewski) Siemienkiewicz. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. The family would like to thank the staff of the Life Care Center of Auburn for the exceptional care they gave to Sophie.
The funeral will be held Monday, March 12 from J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church Street, Spencer. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Webster. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s School, 53 Whitcomb St., Webster, MA 01570.
