Mary “Michael”(Miguel) Amaral, age 96 of Fall River & formerly of Somerset, passed away on March 7, 2012. She was the wife of the late Augustine Amaral and the daughter of the late Antonio & Deolinda (Silva) Miguel. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Amaral was the Co-Proprietor of the former Amaral’s Chourico Co. She was a parishioner of St. John of God Church & a member of its Holy Rosary Society.
She is survived by her children: Ronald Amaral (wife Gloria) of Tiverton & Eileen Menker of Dighton; a sister: Laura Fedele of Fall River; 5 grandchildren: Alan Amaral, Paula Gonsalves, Laurie Vasconcellos, Liane Bouffard, & Colleen Swanson; several great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Bella Curt.
Relatives & friends are invited to attend Mary’s funeral mass in St. John of God Church on SATURDAY at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. There Are No Calling Hours.
