Obituary

Hannah Taylor, 32, passed away peacefully in her home in Winthrop, Massachusetts on Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Hannah was never daunted in her courageous seven year battle with a brain tumor, simply refusing to be sick. Hannah was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on May 29, 1979. She graduated from Northwestern High School in Barkhamsted, Connecticut in 1997 and earned a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from Drexel University in 2002 where she was a member of the Phi Mu chapter. Hannah pursued a career in marketing as a senior account manager at Spry International in Newtonville, MA. She was an enthusiastic member of The Junior League of Boston since 2007, including serving as a Provisional Advisor in a mentoring role for new members.

Hannah loved pottery, fitness, Christmas, UConn basketball, and her dogs. She enjoyed a confident sense of style. Hannah valued friendship, honesty, competitiveness, and above all else her family.

She leaves her beloved partner and soul mate Christopher Aden of Winthrop, her grandfather Bill MacDonald of Buzzards Bay, MA., her parents Jeanne and David Taylor of North Canaan, CT., her sister Chandra Ring and husband Kevin of Hudson, OH, her brothers Greg and wife Keri of Holden, MA, Nathan of Vernon, CT, Dylan and his fiancee Caity McGrath of South Boston, MA., and nieces Natasha, Lauren, Juliette, and nephews Ryan, Matthew, and James. Grace Mulqueen of Naples, FL was a longtime companion of her late grandfather, Gordon Taylor.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a memorial service at the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home, 210 Winthrop St., Winthrop, MA on Saturday, March 10th. at 9 AM. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4-8 PM. Donations in Hannah’s memory may be directed to Adult Brain Tumors at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
