Arthur M. “Archie” Almeida, 66 of Fall River died Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at home. He was the husband of Theresa L. “Terry” (Santos) Almeida.
Born in Fall River, he was son of the late Manuel F. and Maria (Laliberte) Almeida. Mr. Almeida was an avid pool player at Straight Shooters in Fall River and he enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and Raynham Dog Track.
Including his wife, survivors include 2 daughters: Doreen M. Medeiros and her husband Darren of Swansea and Sharon L. Almeida of Fall River and her companion Jorge Santos; a brother: Thomas Almeida of Westport; a sister: Donna L. Manumaleuna of FL; a grandson: Colin Sullivan; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, March 9, 2012 at the Potter Funeral Home at 7:30 P.M.
Visitation will be Friday 5 – 7:30 P.M. prior to the service.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
