Anthony “Tony” Tarentino, 64 of Medford formerly of Somerville died Monday after a brief illness in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Medford, MA.
Tony was born in Somerville and lived in Medford for the past 30 years and was the son of the late Angelina (Melito) and Frank Tarentino. He was the Proprietor of Landscape Design of Lexington for over 30 years.
Beloved husband of Nancy (Sable) Tarentino. Brother of Carmen Tarentino and Karen Durney both of Florida, Frank Tarentino, Jr. of Peabody and Ronald Tarentino of Tewksbury. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford Thursday at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in Anthony’s name to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress Street, 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210.
The family wishes to commend the staff at Lawrence Memorial Hospital/Hallmark Health for their devoted care, especially Dr. Britt and Dr. Smith and a special thank you to Tammy McNeill, one of God’s true angels on earth for her compassion and professionalism during a difficult time. We must also recognize the team at Medford Extended Care for all their kindness during Tony’s last months.
