William Charles Linder, 72, of Clarksville, TN, died on Friday March 2, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center. He was born on August 5, 1939 in Miami, Florida to the late Calvin Linder and Flora Tolbert Linder.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 11 AM at LifePoint Church with full military honors with Rev. Mike Burnette officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 9 AM until the hour of service at the church.
William was a civil service employee for 22 years. He retired with the US Air Force after 28 years of service as a SMGT (E-8). He was also a member of LifePoint Church.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Linder of Clarksville, TN; two sons, Beto Linder of Clarksville, TN and Omar (Crystal) Linder of Ocala, FL; a daughter, Selinda (Nicholas) Chapman of Clarksville, TN; a brother, Tommy Linder of Villa Rica, GA; and a granddaughter, Taylor Linder.
