Mrs. Carol (McLaughlin) Lynch, of Woburn, age 72, died March 4, 2012 in Reading after a lengthy illness. Born in Woburn, Carol was the devoted daughter of the late Mary (Brown) & William E. McLaughlin.
A lifelong Woburn resident, Carol graduated from St. Charles School in 1957. She worked in the purchasing office for Symmes Hospital of Arlington, retiring in 1993. Carol and her husband Edmund vacationed in Deerfield Beach, FL, Hampton Beach, NH and they loved to go on cruises. Carol also enjoyed her ceramics.
Carol was the beloved wife of Edmund Lynch. Dear sister to Rita Stone of Woburn, Mary E. McLaughlin of Maine and the late Ann P. Barnett, Jeanne M. McLaughlin and Ruthie A. Mulrenan. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. WOBURN, Thursday March 8th at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St. Woburn at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made in Carol's name to St. Charles Church, 280 Main St., Woburn, MA 01801.
