Mrs. Anna D. (DeBenedictis) Nasta, age 101, of Woburn, died Friday, March 2nd, unexpectedly, at home . Born in Woburn, Anna was a life long Woburn resident. She was the devoted daughter of the late Florence (Balestrier) & Joseph DeBenedictis.
Anna was a former member of the South End Italian Club, Sons of Italy and Woburn Senior Center. She loved to travel, with her late husband Louis, and spent many winters in Daytona Beach, FL. She enjoyed reading, playing cards and was a fan of the Boston Red Sox. She previously worked at the Schraffts Candy Co., as a candy designer. Most of all, Anna loved her family and her many close and dear friends.
In addition to her late parents and husband, Anna is survived by her daughter, Lucille A. Nasta-Small and her husband Donald Small of Woburn. Loving grandmother of Anthony Joseph, and sister to the late Patrick DeBenedictis. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Funeral from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. WOBURN, Tuesday March 6th at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St., Woburn at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
