Obituary

Methuen, Ma. – Domenica J. “Minnie” (Napolitano) Riccio, 86 died March 1, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born and educated in Lawrence Domenica was the daughter of Pasquale and Marie (DiTora) Napolitano. A longtime Methuen resident Minnie had been employed as a clerk with the Raytheon, Company of Andover before her retirement.
Domenica was a communicant of Saint Lucy Church in Methuen.
The widow of Anthony J. Riccio with whom she had celebrated 49 years of marriage before his passing in 1995.
When her husband Anthony was living they both loved dancing, and traveling to Florida in the winter months and playing cards with their family and friends.
Domenica was considered to be the consummate mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and mother-in-law.
Survivors include two daughters and their husbands; Barbara and William Paris, Sr, and Susan and Salvatore “Sam” Blatti, four grandchildren, William Paris, Jr., and his wife Tammie, Michelle and husband Jason Mulcahy, Melissa Blatti and Jordan Blatti, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Domenica was predeceased by sisters Angelina Croteau, and Barbara Gooding, and her brother Pasquale Napolitano.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday morning at 11 o’clock in St. Lucy Church with burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
Friends will be warmly received on Sunday from 3-7 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St. Methuen, Ma.
