Mrs. Constance Ann (Brasso) Leroy, a resident of E. Bridgwater and formerly of Quincy, Norwell and Hanover, died at the Sachem Nursing Center in E. Bridgewater on Wednesday morning, February 29, 2012. Constance was the beloved wife of the late George Leroy and William Chenette. She was 73 years old.
Born in Brockton on March 24, 1938, she was the beloved daughter of the late Alessio and Anne (Gikis) Brasso. Costance loved animals, especially her own dogs. She also loved being at the ocean and had fond memories of sunday dinner at her mothers home. In her younger years, she enjoyed being a dance instructor.
She was the loving mother of Constance C. and her husband Gregg S. White of Stoneham, Brian W. and his wife Julie Chenette of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Christopher and his wife Jennifer Chenette of Simpsonville, S.C. and Jason Leroy of Scituate, devoted sister of Greg Brasso of N. Weymouth and the late Jeannie White, cherished aunt of Kim and Peter White of VT and dear cousin of Joanne and her husband John Karo of N. Weymouth. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Her funeral service was held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Saturday, at 4 PM. Visitation was on Saturday, prior to the service, from 2 to 4 PM.
