AUGUSTA, GA - Mr. Dean Hammond, beloved son of the late George Gray Hammond and Harriett Betty Powell entered into rest on Monday, February 27, 2012 at Trinity Hospital.
A native of Aiken, SC, Dean worked and lived in the Augusta and Aiken County areas most of his adult life. He was a devoted father and considered his precious daughter, Rachael his priority and greatest passion. He had an enormous love for the mountains and enjoyed his time in the outdoors.
He is survived by his daughter Rachel Hammond of Evans; his sister, Kathy Hollar of North Augusta, SC; and his nephew, Joseph Bearden of Martinez, GA.
