Mary A. Winters, age 96, died on Saturday, February 25, surrounded by her family. She was dedicated to her family, friends and Catholic faith and maintained a vigorous work ethic, energy level, and perseverance until her last day. Mary is survived by her two youngest children, Geri Anderson and Paul Winters, siblings Aldona Morrell and Peter Gumaskas, daughter-in-law Denise Winters, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. She will join her beloved sons Bob and Jim and husband Gerald in Heaven. Mary will especially be remembered as a wonderful and caring sister, mother, and grandmother; an unrelenting source of love, caring, and positivity in the lives of her family. She will be deeply missed.
A Funeral Mass was held in her honor at St. Augustine’s church on 43 Essex Street, in Andover on March 3, 2012 at 1PM. Burial was in St. Mary Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
