Jerrel Robertson, age 67, died Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. He was born October 14, 1944 in Quitman County, MS to the late "Ted" Albert Oscar and Avis Merilla Creswell Robertson. Jerrel served in Vietnam as an Army Construction Specialist and worked most of his life as a carpenter. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, 4-wheeling and building.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Monday, February 27, 2012 in Bethel Cemetery in the Teasdale Community of Tallahatchie County, MS. A graveside funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM on February 27, 2012.
Jerrel is survived by two sons, Vincent Wayne Robertson of Maryville, TN and Jason Nolan Robertson of Narows, VA; two sisters, Joyce Ann Almond of Olive Branch, MS and Nadean Watson of Dothan, AL; three brothers, Billy Robertson of Enid, MS, Danny Robertson of Yukon, OK and Phil Robertson of Newport, TN; and seven grandchildren, Casey Wayne Robertson, Keven Lee Robertson, Braxton Robertson, Patricia Ambber Robertson, William Joseph Robertson, Jason Nolan Robertson, Jr. and Micheal Allen Robertson.
In addition to his parents, Jerrel was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Louise Cooler and Shirley Faye Robertson; and two brothers, Bobby Lee Robertson and Larry Robertson.
