Earl McSwain, 68, of Thomaston, Georgia, died Sunday, April 4, 2004, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M., Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at Big Creek Cemetery, Irwin County, with Rev. J.A. Clements officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00 until 9:00 Tuesday evening.
Mr. McSwain was born May 10, 1935, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Willie A. and Dora Florence Sumner McSwain. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist faith. Mr. McSwain had lived in Thomaston for the past twenty years.
Mr. McSwain is survived by two brothers: Royce McSwain of Tifton and Artis McSwain of Clarksville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
