Augusta, GA - Mrs. Edna N. Rodgers, 97, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Golden Living Center Windermere.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at West View Cemetery with Reverend Brian LaFavor officiating.
Mrs. Rodgers was a native of Augusta and was a member of Crawford Avenue Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Rodgers, Sr., daughter, Betty R. Freeman (Denny), parents, Harry and Addie Forbes Nimmons and brothers, Bill Nimmons and Pete Nimmons.
Mrs. Rodgers is survived by her son and daughter in law, Alton and Denise Rodgers of Evans, GA, grandchildren, Denise Scavone (Joe), Jan Freeman, Jeff Freeman and Jennifer Durham (Blake), great grandchildren, Nellie Floyd, Maria Wandless (Dan), Michelle DeLoach (Jack), Jeffery Freeman, Michael Freeman, Taylor Floyd and Hunter Floyd and five great great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her granddog “Bella”.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at Platt’s Crawford Avenue.
