Evelyn Mobley Whitley, age 86, of Palatka, FL passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at Putnam Community Medical Center. Mrs. Whitley was born on March 23, 1925, in Coffee County, GA.
Survivors include: her daughter, Gail (Larry) Parker, of East Palatka, FL.; two brothers, Alex Mobley, of Broxton, GA., and Ralph Mobley, of Atlanta, GA.; two grandchildren, Larry Parker, Jr., of Macon, GA, and Ky Connell, of East Palatka, FL.; four great grandchildren, Casey Parker, Ashley Parker, Parker Jones, and Larry Dale Connell. She was preceded, in death by her husband James V. Whitley, of Broxton, GA.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Lone Hill Church Cemetery.
