Obituary

FALL RIVER … Mary (Dubienny) Fingliss, 101, of Fall River died Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at the Catholic Memorial Home.
She was the widow of Patrick V. Fingliss.
She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Dimitri and Anna (Czarkowska) Dubienny and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
She had worked in the garment industry for over 25 years retiring in 1975.
Mrs. Fingliss was the Past President of the Maplewood Seniors and was a member of the I.L.G.W.U. and Unite. She was also a member of the Somerset Senior Glee Club. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, crocheting, and taking day trips.
Her family would like to thank the staff at the Catholic Memorial Home for the wonderful care she received while she was there.
Survivors include 2 sons: Joseph P. Fingliss of Somerset and Patrick J. Fingliss of Tiverton, RI, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a nephew. She was the mother of the late Anna Falvey and sister of the late Walter and John Dubienny.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday, at 9AM from the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at St’s Peter and Paul Parish at Holy Cross Church, Pulaski Street, Fall River. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be Friday 4 – 7 PM. Flowers are acceptable or donations may be sent in her memory to St’s Peter and Paul School, 240 Dover Street, Fall River, MA 02721.
