Obituary

Forrest, Eleanor F. (Burke) of Squantum, passed away at home surrounded by her family February 20, 2012.

Beloved wife of the late John E. Forrest. Loving mother of Eleanor Forrest and her husband George Camia of Quincy, Jeanne Forrest of Quincy, Dianne Faherty and her husband Eddie of Squantum, and the late Marilyn Forrest Panaro and Kathleen Forrest Russell. Devoted Nana to Michael and John Panaro, Taylor, Jesse and Josh Ahern, George Camia, and Kaitlyn and Michael Faherty. Also survived by 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Eleanor’s life was full of strength and dignity and centered around her love and devotion to her family. Family gatherings and holiday celebrations made her the happiest and she attended many of her grandchildren’s events through the years. She enjoyed walking, reading, dancing and playing the piano. Eleanor was a special woman with a strong faith and a warm heart. She will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM.

Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
