Evans, GA – Lillian E. Tarver, 91, entered into rest on Sunday, February 19, 2012.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM at Church of the Good Shepherd on Friday, February 24, 2012 with The Reverend Robert D. Fain celebrant.
Mrs. Tarver was born in Chicago, IL. Prior to moving to the Augusta area, she resided in Miami, FL, where she was a member of numerous clubs and organizations including the Miami Women’s Club in Miami, FL, the Mangowood Women’s Club, the Officers Wives Club at Homestead AFB, FL. She was a life member of the Art Institute of Chicago in Chicago, IL and a member of Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, NY. Mrs. Tarver was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd in Augusta, GA.
Survivors include her husband, Maj. Charles F. Tarver, Jr. USAF (Ret.), one son, Richard Brock and wife Ann of Tucker, GA, one sister, Eileen B. Bruzewicz of Chicago, IL, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two nieces, and two nephews.
