Catherine R. (Capraro) LaFauci of Medford died Friday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 95.
Kay was born and raised in Boston’s North End, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Beatrice (Montalbano) Capraro. A Malden resident since her marriage, Kay was a devoted wife who enjoyed the company of family and friends.
The beloved wife of the late Joseph LaFauci, she was a loving aunt and Godmother to Peter Mione of Malden. She was the dear sister of Louis Capraro of NH, Charles Capraro and Joseph Capraro both of Medford, the late Josephine Mione, Vito, Salvatore, Anthony and Paul Capraro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday February 22nd at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 – 8.
