Irma R. Rodd Krell, age 97, of Noank, passed away Saturday at Fairview of Groton.
Mrs. Krell was born in Belmont, MA on January 22, 1915 the daughter of Harry C. and Mary Coyle Rodd. A longtime resident of the area, she was an active member of the Noank Baptist Church.
She was the wife of the late J.D. Krell who passed away in 2004. She is survived by 2 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and her cousins, Jane Butson Webster of Mystic and Mary Ann Butson Chaffet of Guilford. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Charles and Frederick Rodd.
A Memorial Service will be held at The Noank Baptist Church on Friday at 2pm. Private interment will precede at Noank Valley Cemetery.
