Robert T. Webb, Sr., 89, of Indian Mound, TN died Friday, February 17, 2012 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 20, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Indian Mound United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Howard, Rev. Don Lee, and Rev. Ben Falls officiating. Burial will be in Marion United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, 1-4 PM at the funeral home, and Monday from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church.
Mr. Webb was born June 10, 1922 in Clarinda, Iowa son of the late Archie Webb Sr. and Thelma Ramsey Webb. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Marie M. Webb, a daughter, Thelma Jane Thompson, and a sister, Betty Underwood.
He was a retired liscensed contractor, a liscensed insurance salesman, and sold honey. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #89 and a member of Indian Mound United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Smith Webb; three sons, Tony Webb (Veronica), Santa Fe, NM; Robert Webb, Jr, Nashville, TN; and Mark Webb (Barbara), Trinity, FL; two daughters, Patricia Miller (Joe), Marion Community; and Sandi David, Roseville, CA; three brothers, Ronald Webb, Clarksville, TN; Archie Webb, Florida; and Darrell Dean Webb, Florida; a sister, Hazel Albert, New Mexico; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Smith, Delano Grasty, Annemarie Noland, Mitchell Webb, George Thomas, and Mark Webb. Honorary pallbearers will be men of the Indian Mound United Methodist Church.
