Fall River – Marguerite A. (Morin) Briand, 90, of Westport died Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at St. Anne’s Hospital after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Homer R. Briand.
She was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Joseph G. and Margaret (Kirby) Morin, and resided in Westport for the past 60 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church in Westport.
Survivors include a son: Homer R. Briand of Westport; a daughter: Elaine C. Wickstrom of Berlin, MA; a sister: Ernestine B. Monast of Westport; a brother: Joseph F. Morin of Westport; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late George Morin, John Morin, Lenore Johnson and Arline Martin
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 5, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport. .
Calling hours will be Sunday 3 - 6 P.M.
Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
