DUDLEY - Madeleine G. (Vincent) Hoffman, 92, formerly of Joshua Place, died Thursday, February 16, 2012 in Knollwood Nursing Center, West Boylston. Her husband of 19 years, Edward J. Hoffman, died in 1967.
She leaves a daughter, Kathleen L. Mayotte and her husband Paul of Trevette, ME; 2 sons, Peter J. Hoffman and his wife Linda of Charlton, and Vincent J. Hoffman and his wife Mary of Worcester; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; a sister, Pauline Wilga of Dudley; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Francis Hoffman in 1973, and by 2 sisters and 6 brothers.
She was born in Canada, a daughter of Francois and Leona (LaRochelle) Vincent. She lived in Ware and then in Southbridge for many years before moving to Dudley in 1991.
Mrs. Hoffman was a homemaker.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 20, in Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Road. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street,Webster, MA.
