LEICESTER: Warren E. Kozlowski,63, of Siani Rd. in the Rochdale section of Leicester died at home on Thursday, Feb. 16 after a courageous battle with cancer due to coming in contact with “agent orange” while serving his country with the U.S. Army in Vietnam.
He leaves his wife of 42 years, Helen A. (Green) Kozlowski, his son Steven T. Kozlowski and his fiancé Janeen Paul of Rutland, his daughter Kristine S. Jensen and her husband Anton of Auburn, his brother James E. Kozlowski and his wife Susan of Webster, two grand children Jennifer Hassett and Audrey Jensen, nieces and nephews.
Warren was a molder, supervisor, quality technician and lastly a complaint analysis at Norton/Saint Gobain Abrasive Co. in Worcester, where he worked for 41 years, retiring in 2009.
Born in Webster, he was the son of Edward L. and Cecile G. (Lavallee) Kozlowski and later graduated from Bartlett High School in 1966. He went on to serving in the US. Army with the 25th. Division in DauTieng in 1967-68 and later the Thet Offensive in 1968. He was a member of St. Ann’s Church in No.Oxford.
The family would like to give “special thanks” to Dr. David Shepro and his staff of “angels” at Commonwealth Hematology & Oncology in Worcester and the wonderful nurses at Worcester V.N.A. (especially Holly).
The funeral will be held on Monday, Feb. 20 from the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Ann’s Church, 654 Main St., No.Oxford. Burial will follow with Military Honors in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours are Sunday, Feb. 19 from 2 to 5p.m. in the funeral home.
