WILLIAM G. “BILL” THOMPSON, 81, passed away on February 14, 2012 at Jewish Hospital.
He was a retired employee of Allpest Chemical Company, a Ky. Colonel, and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his grandsons, Larry William and Robert Wayne Evans.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 48 years, Elizabeth “Bootsie” Thompson; his children, Donna Morton and Terry Lee Duff (Connie); five grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; his brothers, Byron and Bob Thompson; sister, Sharon Jeffries (Joe); sister-in-law, Doris “Sissy” Lewis of Elizabethtown, Ky.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 – 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. -11 a.m. Saturday.
