February 13, 2012 Maureen (Quigley) Richardson died peacefully in Naples, Florida at the age of 63. She was the loving wife of Spencer Richardson, who lovingly tended to her during her recent times of need. She gave a lot of love back to him in return. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Gonzalski) Quigley. She was the sister of Thomas Quigley(the late James Quigley), Eileen (Quigley) Crochiere, Peter Quigley and Kevin Quigley. She was the aunt of Kyle Quigley, Evan Crochiere, Briana Quigley, Ryan Quigley and Connor Quigley. She was the step-mother to John Richardson and Scott Richardson. She was the step-grandmother to Michael Richardson. Maureen was born, raised, and lived most of her life in Taunton. She went to St. Mary’s Grammar School, Bishop Cassidy High School, and Bridgewater State College. She retired after teaching 35 years at Bennett and Maxham Elementary Schools. After she retired, Maureen married Spencer Richardson from Indianapolis, Indiana. For a brief time, they lived in Taunton, then they moved to Indianapolis. Within the last two years, they moved to Florida splitting their time between their separate homes in Naples and The Villages. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Saturday, February 18th from 10 AM-12:30 PM. A Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Taunton at 1:00 PM. Interment will be held in Indiana.
