Allen, Graham E. of Hingham, died on February 12, 2012 after a brief illness, at the age of 30. He was the beloved husband of Holly (Jordan) Allen of Weymouth and the adoring father of Graham E. Allen, Jr. of Weymouth. Also the loving son of Philip S. and Alysa M. (Boehler) Allen and brother of Philip S. Allen, Jr., John A. Allen and Daniel A. Allen all of Hingham. Grandson of Alice M. Boehler of Hingham (formerly of Milton). Graham is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and dear friends.
Graham was born in Atlanta Georgia but grew up in Hingham, playing football, lacrosse, and wrestling while at Hingham High. He also spent a year at City Year in Boston mentoring inner city children. He was a lineman and member of IBEW Local 104, a job which he loved. Graham enjoyed spending his time outdoors, especially fishing off the rocks on Prudence Island or Nantasket. He had a inquisitive mind for how things worked and spent many hours making solar power or electrical projects. He was funny, an amazing cook and extremely giving, and most of all a doting father who loved his son.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM.
Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
