Robin L. (Hart) Jeffers of Westport, died Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at home after a 10 month battle with lung cancer at the age of 45. She was the daughter of Sharon (Stowell) Booth and the late Roger E. Hart, Jr.
Robin graduated from Dartmouth High School in 1984 and in October of that year, joined the U.S. Army at the age of 18. She later lived in South Carolina and then moved to Tennessee, where she lived for many years. Robin moved back to Westport four years ago and worked as a CSM at Walmart in North Dartmouth until her illness.
Besides her loving mother, Robin is survived by her son: Thomas Dewey Crites, Jr. of KY; her step-father: Burton Booth of Westport; 2 sisters: Roberta L. Murray of Dartmouth and Rebecca L. Nunes and her husband Curt of Attleboro; 3 brothers: Roger M. Hart and Michael J. Hart both of New Bedford and Andrew Hart and his wife Deidre of Dartmouth; 3 nieces: Marissa, Samantha and Sydney and 6 nephews: Ryan, Roger, Dylan, Nathan, Brayden and Jackson.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, February 17, 2012 at 9:30 A.M. at the POTTER FUNERAL HOME, 81 Reed Rd., Westport, MA 02790.
Interment will be in Rural Cemetery, New Bedford.
