Cardell E. Jackson-Barnes 87, of Englewood, New Jersey, affectionately known as “Auntie,” died Saturday, February 11, 2012, at home surrounded by family.
She was predeceased by her parents Harry and Mary Jackson; her husband William Barnes; and siblings Linwood Jackson, Paige McFarley, Harry Jackson, Mahalia Moore, and Chauncey Jackson. Surviving are siblings Howard (Rebecca) Jackson, Audrey Bell, Alexander (Mary) Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Visitation is Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 6-9p.m. at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd, Teaneck, NJ 07666. Services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Powhatan, VA.
