Judith A. (Messier) Howard 76, of Walpole, formerly of Dedham died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Patrick L. Howard who died in 1995.
A Walpole resident for the past 15 years she was born in Cambridge the daughter of the late Hiram and Winifred (Murray) Messier.
Mrs. Howard graduated from LaSalle College in 1954 and worked for the GTE Corporation for many years.
She enjoyed summers in Kennebunkport Maine and winters in Florida.
She was a voracious reader, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing golf, bridge and going to movies.
She is survived by four sons, James Howard of Brentwood TN, Peter Howard of Walpole MA, David Howard of Hollis NH, John Howard of Alameda CA and her loving companion of 10 years Joseph Egan of Plymouth MA. Also, she is survived by her sister Jill Sinclair of Natick and 12 grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Jay Messier.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Wednesday February 15 at 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common.
Visiting hours are Wednesday beginning at 4:00 P.M prior to the service.
