Ida (Marinucci) Aretusi passed away on February 13, 2012. She was 90 years old.
Born in Italy, Ida was a longtime resident of Malden. She worked for many years as a machine operator for Federal Paper Box Co. in Peabody.
Ida was the devoted wife of the late Agostino “Gus” Aretusi, her husband of 60 years. She was the beloved mother of Al Aretusi and his wife Jeanne of Malden and the dear sister of 2 brothers and 2 sisters in Italy. She is pre-deceased by 3 brothers and 1 sister. Ida was the cherished grandmother of Gina Holland and her husband Michael of Malden and the great-grandmother of Gianna and Mikayla Holland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday, February 16th at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Wednesday, February 15th from 4-8 p.m. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
