Billy Walker Thompson, 76, went to his heavenly home on Friday February 10, 2012. He passed away at Norton Suburban Hospital.
He was born in Owen County, KY to Woodrow & Edna (Hammond) Thompson.
Billy was a retired refrigeration mechanic for the Kroger Co., with over 30 years service.
He was a faithful member of Landmark Baptist Church for over 20 years, a US Army Veteran, and a Kentucky Colonel.
Billy was a wonderful Husband & Father, and will be greatly missed by all who loved him and counted him as their friend. Billy was preceded in death by his Parents.
Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Nancy Bell Thompson; a Son: Mark Lindsey Thompson (Martha);
3 Grandchildren: Patrick, Allison, & Natalie.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Owenton I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Owenton, KY at 11:00 AM Wednesday.
Visitation will be Monday 3 - 8 PM.
