Harold J. Jordan, 89, of Natick, died on Thursday, February 9, 2012 in the Riverbend Nursing Home in South Natick following a long illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Pauline A. (Richards) Jordan who died in 2008.
A Natick resident for over 48 years, he was born in Revere the son of the late Albert and Beatrice (Hegner) Jordan.
Mr. Jordan was a meat cutter for the former A & P Supermarket Company.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving aboard the USS Pastores and the USS Chepachet. He was a past member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was also a life member of the Natick Elks.
Mr. Jordan is survived by 3 nieces, Jane Boivert of Eastham, Rita Aia of Peabody, and Joan Leone of Natick, 1 nephew Kenneth Pinkham of Milford, and several grand nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to his funeral service in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) Natick on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 12:00 Noon. Visitation will be held for 1 hour prior to the service beginning at 11:00 A.M. Burial with military honors will follow in Dell Park Cemetery, Natick.
