Daniel F. Emack, 68, of Derry, NH, died Tuesday, March 30, 2004 in the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH. Mr. Emack was born in Caribou, ME on August 31, 1935, a son of the late Perley and Flora (MacDonald) Emack. He was a resident of Derry for 29 years, formerly living in Andover, MA & Willimantic, CT. He worked in the automotive industry all his life until his recent retirement. He enjoyed woodworking and working with his hands. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Doreen L. (Saunders) Emack of Derry, NH, one son, Dwayne Emack of Salem, MA, four daughters, Donna Dmochowski of Hudson, NH, Diana Walker of Fremont, NH, Denise McComish of Chester, NH, Dawn Armstrong of Washington, NH, 11 grandchildren, three greatgrandchildren, one brother, Wayne Emack of Willimantic, CT, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Daniel F. "Butchy" Emack Jr.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours will be held Friday April 2nd from 6 - 7:30 with a service to begin at 7:30pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Graveside services will be held on Sunday April 4th at 3:00pm at the Hillside Cemetery, Mansfield, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of NH, 9 Cedarwood Dr., Unit 12, Bedford, NH 03110 or to the American Diabetes Assoc., NH Affiliate, P.O.
