Obituary

Vahan Aghajanian, 87, longtime resident of Tewksbury, Ma.

After a courageous battle with cancer, Vahan spent his final days surrounded by family and friends at his home in Tewksbury. Vahan was born in New York and grew up in Chelsea, MA. A veteran of the Army Air Corps, he served in the China, Burma, India Theater of Operations during World War II. After working many years in the Recording Industry, he retired to focus on the things that brought him true joy in life; his family, friends, music, and his garden.

Vahan will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Celene (Scalli), daughters Col Cara Aghajanian of Washington DC, and Victoria (Aghajanian) Sullivan and son-in-law Robert Sullivan, grandchildren Anthony and AnnMarie Sullivan of Tewksbury, his brother Richard of Atlanta GA, his brother Nishan and sister-in-law Beatrice (Fashjian) of Braintree, his sister Rose (Aghajanian) Jordan of Arlington, his sister Anita (Aghajanian) Assarian and brother-in-law Michael Assarian of Concord as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial Mass to celebrate his life on February 25th at St. William’s Church, Tewksbury MA at 1030.
