Worcester – Paul J. Rivers, 72, of Worcester, died on February 7th in Saint Vincent Hospital.
He is survived by his 5 children, Mark, Kevin, Paula, Michelle and Kelley all of Worcester; 4 brothers, Ronald, Richard “Butch” and Mark all of Worcester and Gerald of Meriden, CT; 2 sisters Stella Ridick of Elizabeth City, NC and Denise Jacques of Worcester; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Paul was born in Worcester, son of the late Irving and Anna (Boucher) Rivers and is predeceased by his first wife Mary (Englehart) Rivers and his second wife Beverly (Lara) Rivers.
Mr. Rivers worked for many years at Adcare Hospital in Worcester and previously worked at the former Worcester City Hospital.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 11th at 10 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church 555 Pleasant St. Burial will be in Saint John’s Cemetery. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester is directing arrangements.
