Mrs. Felicia A. (Sorgi) Richardson, age 98, died Sunday morning, February 5, 2012, at Lahey Clinic Medical Center of Burlington after a brief illness. Born in the South End of Boston, Felicia was the devoted daughter of the late Esterina (Ricci) & Diamante Sorgi.
A Woburn resident since 1954, Felicia was the beloved wife of the late Robert Richardson. Felicia was a longtime saleswoman for Lord & Taylor children's dept. She retired in 2004 at the age of 91, after 25 years of employment. She loved to travel all over the world and visited such places as: China, Japan, Italy, and Greece and at the age of 90, she went to Las Vegas. She loved to go out for special occasions and was always perfectly dressed. Most of all Felicia loved her family, especially her loving grandchildren.
Felicia is survived by her devoted daughter, Beverly Apruzzese and her husband Vincent of Burlington. Loving grandmother of Jason, Cassandra and Brianna. Sister of Emma Oronte of Norwell, Peter Sorgi of Braintree and the late Alec Sorgi, John Sorgi, Gencema Muccini, Grace Muccini and Lorenzo Sorgi.
Funeral from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn Saturday, February 11th at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Margaret Church, 111 Winn St. Burlington at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
