Marie E. (Kennedy) Nadeau, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, passed away into eternal life on Monday, February 6, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Melrose following an extended illness. She was 83 years old.
Marie was born in Boston on December 9, 1928 to the late Daniel J. and Elizabeth (Conrad) Kennedy. Marie was a homemaker, dedicating her life to her husband and children and extended family. She was a member of the Daughter's of Isabella # 1.
Marie is the beloved wife of the late Louis P. Nadeau. She is the devoted mother of David Nadeau of Windham, Maine, Linda Smith of Lynn, Donna Wallace of Charlestown, Diane Ferreira of Wilmington, Louis P. Nadeau II of Wilmington, Glenn Nadeau of Charlestown and the late Marie E. Nadeau. She is the loving Nana to her many grandchildren, the late Amanda Nadeau and to her many great-grandchildren. She is the beloved sister of the late John Kennedy. She is a special friend to Beverly Hansen.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Marie's Funeral on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 9 a.m. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 a.m. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
