Barbara J. (Augello) Leger, 45, of Franklin died February 5 in Milford Regional Medical Center following a long illness. She was the wife of Jeffrey M. Leger.
Born in White Plains, New York, November 5, 1966, the daughter of Richard F. and Gloria (McKenna) Augello of Naples Florida, Mrs. Leger was raised in Sherborn and had lived in Franklin since 1994.
Mrs. Leger was a graduate of Dover Sherborn High School and Bay State College with a degree in Hotel Management.
Mrs. Leger had formerly been the Director of Conference Services at the Back Bay Hilton Hotel in Boston.
Barbara had been a volunteer for the Franklin FISH program and was a supporter of the Franklin Food Pantry.
She loved vacationing on Cape Cod and enjoyed many happy times with her family and friends on the Cape.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her children Lauren O. Leger and Peter J. Leger of Franklin.
She is also survived by her brother Glenn T. Augello of Marlboro.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, February 10 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church in Wrentham at 10:00 a.m.
Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
Entombment will be in Edgell Cemetery and Mausoleum in Framingham immediately following the funeral mass.
